Summer staff is our three month pre-formative intermediate community for college students and graduates who are tired of the same old verbiage of our secular collegiate ethos.  This includes the hyper-active lifestyle of doing a bunch of things not even knowing why we are doing them.  Summer staff begins on May 26 and ends on August 15.  You will join college students from around the country to live in Catholic Christian community for three months in beautiful Door County, WI at Saint Joseph Formation Center.  You will have a daily schedule of prayer and apostolate work doing it ALL for God.  All the while you can enjoy the Bistro, beautiful Kangaroo Lake, five state parks and Club G.  You will be asked to give of yourself in a radical commitment to Christ and His Church.  Being a missionary means, taking ownership and raising support from friends.  You are offered the opportunity to fund raise $650 to cover expenses of the summer staff formation program which includes: 40 hours of class time in a submersion of HOLY SCRIPTURES, contemporary Catholic authors such as Cantalamessa, Jacque Phillip, Jean Vanier, Father Barron, Johannas Metz, Fr. Simeon, Fr. Gallagher and many more writings including Redemptoris Missio,  room & board, a five-day silent directed retreat, Catholicfest, Summer Staff T-Shirt, & Extreme Expedition Experience.  All led by a certified Catholic priest with a Masters in Divinity and a CDL (commercial drivers license) and some fired up Sisters in Chris called The Missionaries of the Word.  You will be missionary, helping us staff CYE Base Camp Coffee House in an urban setting, discipling 10 expedition retreats while enjoying the FUN of Catholicfest, our annual family event.  If you're interested, simply click on the online application link below, and prayerfully fill out the application.  We prefer that you have been an expeditioner first so we recommend coming on a spring expedition retreat if you are serious about the matter.  DEADLINE for application is March 25.  (Please email us if you are interested and it is past March 25).
