Welcome to the new home of Catholic Youth
Expeditions!!! We are located two blocks west of
Richmond on Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton. We are in the
Bell Heights Center, next to Min Du Buffet!!!!
The Holy Spirit has inspired a new way
for us to sustain Catholic Christian Community during
the off-season of summer expedition camping! This old
cell phone retail store has been transformed into a
Base camp. A place to meet before an Expedition!
THE MISSION & VISION
Basecamp is a place to
prepare oneself for the upcoming trip. CYE Basecamp is
a place to prepare, to meet up with fellow
expeditioners and to equip oneself to make the summit.
We all find ourselves on unique journeys and sometimes
our paths converge. When wemeet, we can share our
experiences, learn from one another and begin a new
journey together. CYE Basecamp is a place not only to
enjoy a yogurt smoothy, fresh homemade pizza or
delicious Mystic Monk Coffee,but a place to find
fellowship. Who knows, you may be inspired to make an
expedition!

A huge thank you to all
those who have generously donated their time, their
talent and their treasure to help make this vision a
reality. We certainly couldn't have done it without
the generous help of our benefactors and workers. Joe
& Jean, thank you for everything. For taking down
the old counter and putting up the new one, for making
the half wall and for sawing logs, for coming over
here after a long day of work. Randy, thank you for
your electrical expertise...we'd probably be dead if
we tried that by ourselves! Larry, thank you for your
masonry skills...WOW! It is so much greater than any
of us could have ever imagined. Pat & John Paul,
thanks for painting and making us smile. You really
have a gift Pat! Jerry, I can't believe the kayak is
hung up!!!! Good choice on the lights! Cheri, we
wouldn't be here without you! Thanks for all your
computer knowledge Mark, Cheri & Zeb! And to
everyone else who has contributed in some way,
especially in prayer...we need warriors behind this
mission in order to perpetuate this response to the
Holy Spirit!

Fortunately, we still depend on
God's providence for all of our needs which means we
don't have any funding to staff this new Base Camp. We
